Before telling you the story of this property, it felt only natural to explain the name it carries today.
N&L simply stands for the initials of Nathalie and Laurent. Two life journeys coming together around a shared project.
The word Signature felt like an obvious choice. Just as a chef creates a signature dish, we wanted to leave our own mark on this place — not by erasing its past, but by bringing our own vision of hospitality, sharing and the art of welcoming guests.
A few weeks after we moved in, our friends Catherine and Alain, who had come to share the first moments of this new adventure with us, gave us a wonderful surprise. A few days after they returned home, we received an engraving depicting a tree of life, personalised with the words N&L Signature.
We instantly fell in love with it.
Surrounded by the pine trees and greenery that give this property its unique charm, we immediately knew that this tree of life would become the symbol of our identity. It represents roots, passing things on, encounters and the connections that are formed with each stay.
Since that day, it has naturally become part of the story of N&L Signature.
The origins of the property
Before N&L Signature came to life, this property had already undergone a remarkable transformation.
Christine and Patrice, the owners from whom we purchased the property, had themselves acquired it more than ten years earlier, when it looked very different from the place you see today.
The main house, the holiday cottage, the outdoor areas and the swimming pool all required extensive renovation. With great passion, patience and a true eye for detail, they set about bringing this old Provençal property back to life. Over the years, they restored the buildings, preserved their authenticity and created a warm and welcoming place where they hosted many guests, mainly through holiday rentals.
We are deeply grateful to them for everything they accomplished. Their dedication, appreciation for beautiful things and the care they brought to every renovation allowed this property to regain all its charm and paved the way for the new chapter we are writing today.
The images show the property as it looked when they first acquired it, before the extensive renovation work they carried out began.
A few years after bringing this property back to life and developing a successful holiday rental business, Christine and Patrice decided it was time to pass their project on to new owners.
At the time, the main house and the holiday cottage were both offered for rent in their entirety, accommodating up to fifteen guests. The property was being sold fully furnished, with an established business that was already highly appreciated by its guests.
It was while browsing the Gîtes à vendre website that we came across their listing.
From the very first photos, we were captivated. We discovered a property full of charm, beautifully renovated and nestled in an exceptional natural setting. Everything we had imagined for our future project seemed to be there already.
A few days later, we met Christine and Patrice.
Beyond the quality of the property itself, we discovered two passionate people who were delighted to share the story of the house with us and tell us about all the work they had put into it.
As we left the property that day, one thing had become clear: perhaps we had just found the place where we would write a new chapter of our lives.

Writing a new chapter
Months of transformation.
When we became the owners in 2024, our ambition was not to transform what was already there, but to continue the story of this beautiful property while adding our own signature.
While the buildings had already regained all their charm thanks to the remarkable work carried out by the previous owners, we wanted to enhance the natural setting surrounding them and rethink the accommodation to offer a more intimate and comfortable experience, more closely aligned with our vision of hospitality.
The holiday cottage was completely redesigned to create two genuine air-conditioned suites, each with its own private bathroom. The terraces, access areas, parking spaces, pool surroundings and gardens were extensively redesigned to create an environment dedicated to peace, relaxation and the gentle Provençal way of life.
Every change was guided by the same conviction: to respect the soul of the property while preparing it for the future.

A first chapter filed with wonderful encounters
The opening of N&L Signature in 2026 marks the beginning of a new adventure.
Since welcoming our very first guests, every stay, every encounter and every conversation has brought to life a project we had been preparing for a long time.
The many reviews and messages we received during this first season have touched us deeply. Beyond the comfort of our accommodation and the beauty of the surroundings, our guests speak above all about the warm welcome, the thoughtful touches, the recommendations we shared and the pleasure of feeling truly expected.
